"The Sound of Silence" ou "Bridge over Troubled Water"?

Quem me fez lembrar este grande cantor/compositor foi a música de fundo, "Bridge over Troubled Water" do video que está indicado no post de 31 de Agosto sobre o cãozinho com sorte, Wilson. E depois, claro, veio por arrasto "The Sound of Silence". Para recordar.

Nick Cave, australiano, nasceu a 22 de Setembro de 1957. Para além de músico, escreve canções, assim com é um autor, um screenwriter e um actor ocasional.

A sua voz é magnífica e única. A sua actuação em palco ( para além dos videos, também já assisti a um concerto dele, no Porto, em 1996) mostra que a música vem do seu interior. Fabuloso!
No Video Bar, apresentam-se duas músicas de Abattoir Blues/ The Lyre of Orpheus respectivamente Nature Boy and Breathless.

"Living with war" é mais um grande CD de Neil Young! 2006.Não me canso de ouvir as suas músicas. Fantástico tanto nas melodias como nas letras. Todo ele dedicado à contestação da Guerra no Iraque. Pode ver no Video BAR dois videos "Living with war " e "Let`s impeach the President", assim como uma reportagem e uma cover.
