Tesco Turtle Petition

We the undersigned categorically oppose the sale of live turtles, frogs and fish by Tesco's Chinese joint venture stores. These animal sales, be they of farmed or wild-caught individuals, are incompatible with contemporary concepts of corporate responsibility and compassion. We therefore urge Tesco to reconsider its decision to sell these animals and pledge that until it does, we will not shop at Tesco, nor make use of or subscribe to any of the company's other services, such as petrol stations, saving accounts, credit cards, loans, travel, home or pet insurance etc.
